The HSE has developed a Social and Digital Media Policy and Guideline for Employees, and has also developed guidelines for health services who would like to set up either a Facebook, Twitter or other social media page for their service.

The Social and Digital Media Policy and Guidance document, provides guidance and direction to HSE staff when using all types of social media sites and networks.  This policy applies to all HSE employees either participating personally, or communicating on behalf of the HSE, while online.
